Plateaux is audio/visual project headed by multi-talented composer/producer, Oskar Vizan and Soichi Matsumoto of Quadroptica. The concept of plateaux came when they toured together with Talvin Singh's TaBtek project in 2004 through to 2008.

Oskar and Soichi was interested in the idea of cinematic expression through the fusion of sound and imagery as opposed to more experimental/improvised approach of TaBtek. When the tour had finished, they put their ideas together and produced “Profound” “Moon” and “Atlantik”.

“Profound” which features sample from radio interview of Peter Joseph of “Zeitgeist” was later officially approved the use by Peter himself and “Moon” had been picked as staff's choice video by Vimeo with highly acclaimed review. Plateuax are currently under production of much anticipated full album due to be released on their label Fotone.
